Also known as the "Bishops' Bible", the "Treacle Bible", and the "Gentlemen's Bible", this edition is a revision of the Great Bible version, undertaken by Matthew Parker, archbishop of Canterbury, with the assistance of many bishops and well known Biblical scholars.
