Q. Why am I getting this message - "The user is not authorized in Alma"?


This is a known bug in Library Quick Search. When you search from the Libraries homepage and use quotation marks in the search, and then you try to sign into Library Quick Search on the initial page of results, you will encounter this message. At this time, the only known options are 1) run the search from the homepage WITHOUT quotation marks, or 2) If you need to use quotation marks, run the search, but do not sign into Library Quick Search on the page of results; instead, click on SEARCH on that page (basically, re-running the search). Once you run the search from the page of results, you should be able to sign in without trouble.

We've reported this problem to the vendor and they are investigating it.
