Why am I getting this message? “[Error code: 100] You are authenticated as a UTSA affiliate, but not eligible for access.”

Answer

To access UTSA Libraries' online resources, you must be current in the Registrar's system (students) or PeopleSoft (faculty & staff). This is an automated process that UTSA Libraries does not control.

Students: You must be registered for the current semester. If you’ve just registered today, your access should be available within 24 hours.

Continuing students who register for summer or fall classes will have access to online resources during the summer. Continuing students who register for the spring semester will have access during the winter break. Freshmen and transfer students do not have access until the first day of a new semester.

Faculty/Staff: You must have a current appointment in PeopleSoft. If you receive the Error Code 100 message, have your department verify your employment status.

P.h.D. Candidates: You must be registered for at least one hour each semester, or have an appointment in PeopleSoft. If you have questions about your options, speak with your department.

If you are doing an Independent study or doing work without being registered; you must speak with your department about options.

Access to online resources will end at midnight on the final day of the semester, unless you have registered for the next semester or have a continuing appointment in PeopleSoft.
