Q. Does the library have popular magazines and newspapers?
Many popular magazines and newspapers are available online through library databases. Search for these using the JOURNALS link on the library homepage (under Library Quick Search) or below this answer. Enter the name of the magazine or newspaper in the search bar. If the library has access, click on the title in the search results. Then, scroll down to VIEW ONLINE. That will show you which databases have the magazine, along with the available years. Click on the database that has the year(s) you need. Pay close attention to the date ranges, because the library may not have access to every issue.
There are print copies of some popular and general magazines at the John Peace and Downtown Libraries. Some older or historic magazines may be on microfilm. These are currently unavailable to the public. You can submit a GET IT FOR ME request for individual articles, and we will make them available electronically.
