Can retired UTSA faculty access library electronic resources?

Answer

Retired emeritus faculty keep their UTSA email address and have full access to library electronic resources, including remote access. Emeritus status is not granted automatically. For more information, see the link below for Emeritus Application Guidelines from the Office of the Provost.

Retired faculty without emeritus status and retired professional & classified staff may receive borrowing privileges for physical materials at UTSA Libraries, but remote access to our electronic resources is not available.

For alternative options to access online resources, see our guide below for UTSA Alumni, Retirees, and Visitors.
