Q. Does the library have a membership program for the non-UTSA community?

Answer

Please Note: During Fall 2020, some services for Alumni, community borrowers, and TexShare may be limited or unavailable.

Yes, the library has a few options for members of the community who are not affiliated with UTSA.

The TexShare program is for public library members, and Texas college/university students, staff, and faculty. Please see the link below for additional information.

The Community Borrowing Program is also available.  Membership costs $25 per year.  Please see the link below to learn more.

During Fall 2020, Community Borrowers, TexShare card holders, Alumni and other Guests can use our Contactless Delivery services to check out some books in our collection. (See below for more information.) InterLibrary Loan is still available, but physical items are not being borrowed at this time.

Those who wish to join the Community Borrowers program or use TexShare can register for an account with UTSA Libraries at the link provided below.

For more information, please use our Chat service to speak with a Librarian, or call the Library at (210) 458-4574 or 2440.
