MERIT-CATI database is not longer available. It was mentioned in:
Article "THE MERIT-CATI Database: Inter-Firm R&D Partnership—An Overview of Major Trends and Patterns Since 1960" by John Hagedoorn (archived version at NSF/NCSES Archives)
The author responded in an email in 2014,"We discontinued the CATI database some five years ago. We simply did not have the man and/or woman power to continue working on the data. May I suggest the Thomson Reuter SDC Platinum alliances data set as an alternative?"
SDC Platinum is available at COB at the Finance Department.
