Q. Does the Library have online access to the New York Times?

Answer

UTSA Libraries offers online access to The New York Times in two ways:

  1. Nexis Uni: 1980 to present in a text-only version of the newspaper, including the current day's edition, as well as some NYT online articles and blogs.
  2. New York Times (Historical): 1851 to 4 years ago in a pdf version of each day's complete newspaper.

To access these databases, please see the links below.

For those who want access to the New York Times website (nytimes.com), non-subscribers can view up to 10 articles per month for free. Also, Bexar County residents who have a San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) card can access nytimes.com through the SAPL website (see the link below).
