Do you have a microfilm reader? Can I digitize my microfilm?

Answer

UTSA Libraries has microform readers that can be used with microfiche and microfilm records. Patrons affiliated with UTSA can log into the computers attached to the reader with their ABC123 and passphrase. Log-in credentials for guests can be obtained at the Front Desk. Once logged in, you will be able to save PDF versions of microform documents.

Information on operating the reader and returning microform material is located next to the computer.

The microform reader at the JPL is located on the 2nd floor, near the stairs.

The Downtown Library's microform reader is located near the printer, close to the study rooms. Microform spools must be checked out from the Front Desk.

For questions and assistance, please call the JPL Front Desk at 210-458-4574, or the Downtown Library Front Desk at 210-458-2440.
