Q. Do I have to reserve a study room or can I use an empty one?

Answer

Yes.

Study Rooms 1-49, in the John Peace Library, can only be reserved ahead of time. If you see an empty room please check with either the Front Desk (210-458-4574) or Information Desk (210-458-4573) to see if the room has a current reservation that can be canceled.

Study rooms A, B, and C at the Applied Engineering and Technology (AET) Library can only be reserved ahead of time. If you see an empty room, please check with their Front Desk (210-458-6256) to see if the room has a current reservation that can be canceled.

If a study room is not occupied within the first 10 minutes of the reservation start time, the reservation may be canceled.

Study rooms in the Downtown Library must be reserved through Dibs or at the Downtown Library Information Desk. Please call 210-458-2440 for more information.
