Q. Where can I charge my phone? Are phone chargers available for check out at the library?

Answer

The University Center has several phone charging stations located near the Information Desk, in the Ski Lounge area (across from the Bookstore), and in the University Center Food Court outside the entrance to the Chili's Too.

John Peace Library (JPL) does not check out phone chargers.

Phone-charging stands are located in the Laptop Lounge on the 2nd floor of the JPL Building.

There is also a phone-charging station on the 1st floor of the JPL. It is free to use and lockable; your UTSACard is the key. To charge your phone, swipe your UTSACard and follow the instructions displayed on the touch screen. The station will charge your phone for up to 24 hours and will lock when your phone is plugged in and the light is red.

**Please note that the internal clock on the charging station on the 1st floor of the JPL resets every night at midnight. Any student who has put their phone in the station has to go back at midnight and lock their phone up again.**

For more information about the phone-charging booth on the 1st floor, contact the Student Computing Services at 210-458-7646, or the OIT staff in JPL at 210-458-4579.

Downtown Library has phone chargers available for checkout at the Front Desk.
