Q. Is there a courtesy phone in the library?

Answer

The use of a courtesy phone in the library is available upon request, in cases of emergency, and at the discretion of library staff. Calls should be brief. Here are courtesy phone locations and restrictions:

The Downtown Library Information Desk will allow patrons to use the desk phone to make on-campus calls only.

The John Peace Library Information Desk allows patrons to use the desk phone for local, 210 area code, calls or campus calls.

The Applied Engineering and Technology (AET) Library allows patrons to use the desk phone for local, 210 area code, calls or campus calls.

No long distance calls may be placed using library phones.
