Q. Does the library have popular magazines? Can I check them out?
Many popular magazines are available online through library databases. Search for these using the JOURNALS link on the library homepage (under the Library Quick Search). Enter the name of the magazine in the search bar. If the library has access to the magazine, the search results will display both online and print formats, along with available years. Pay close attention to the date ranges, because the library may not have access to every issue.
There are print copies of some popular and general magazines at the John Peace and Downtown Libraries. Some older or historic magazines may be on microfilm.
Magazines on the 3th floor of the JPL are non-circulating, which means they are only available to use in the library. There are the scanners on the 2nd floor if you need to scan an article.
